  • student group dinner, party of 158
We recently sent a group of 158 students and chaperones to Carmine's for dinner while they were in New York City, and the feedback was incredible. Many of them said it was the best dinner they had on the entire trip! The private event space worked out perfectly for our group, and everything was organized and seamless from start to finish. Joanna on the sales team is always fabulous to work with—responsive, professional, and truly understands the needs of group travel. We love sending our groups to Carmine's because the food is consistently great, the service is excellent, and they do an outstanding job accommodating large groups. Highly recommend for anyone planning a group event in NYC!
  • private room dinner, party of 10
If you are looking for a delicious top-notch private dinner for a large group of people, this is your spot!! Ashley, from the special events team, made the process of booking the private room with a prefixed menu and alcohol package that kept our party of 10 so happy! If you have a large group I definitely recommend reserving your dinner with her. She gave me amazing suggestions to build out the perfect menu for our group. She even included the logo of the company and a small customized message printed on our menus!! The service and food was soooo delicious but y'all already knew that! Portions were big and perfect for sharing.
  • bus group lunch, party of 57
Five stars for Carmine’s in Times Square! We brought a massive bus group of 57 people, and the service was absolutely flawless. The two fabulous women in charge of our group were total rockstars. They were incredibly accommodating, even helping us seamlessly transition a guest using a walker. The family-style Italian food was plentiful and delicious. Best of all, the entire staff was so efficient that they got all 57 of us fed and back on the bus exactly on time. Highly recommend for large groups!
  • murder mystery dinner, party of 10
Please note that this review is for the murder mystery dinner show held upstairs at Carmine's, not the main dining room restaurant. It pains me to write this, but prospective guests should know about our experience before attending this event. We attended the murder mystery show at Carmine's, and while the food itself was good, there simply wasn't enough of it for our table. The staff divided attendees into seven tables. Most tables had five or six guests, with one table seating seven. Our table, however, was filled to all ten seats. Despite having significantly more people, our table received the same amount of food as the smaller tables. The result was that nearly every other table had leftovers, while our table did not have enough food for everyone to try all of the dishes. It became embarrassing when Instead of enjoying the meal, ten strangers found themselves deciding who would get an extra shrimp and who would have to go without chicken parmesan or Caesar salad altogether. Some guests didn't get to try certain dishes, including the salad and chicken parmesan, despite having paid for the event. Guests should not be put in that position. What makes this especially surprising is that Carmine's is known for its large family style portions. I don't understand why the restaurant couldn't ensure at least one piece of chicken parmesan and 1 spoonful of salad per guest like dessert when every guest gets their own plate of 1 cannoli, it clearly can be done very easily. Asking ten strangers to share six pieces of chicken parm is simply unacceptable. The solution offered by the wait staff was to order additional food à la carte on a separate bill. That might be reasonable if guests had already received an adequate meal and wanted more, but several people at our table hadn't even been able to taste some of the dishes that were included in the event. It felt as though the staff's role was limited to taking drink orders, while concerns about the shared meal was not of any concern By the time tickets, drinks, and gratuity were included, for us the evening cost well over $250+ per person and we left hungry. As for the murder mystery show itself, the actors were nice. They were interactive, engaging, and entertaining from the moment we entered the space until the end of the night. I don't know whether the responsibility lies with the show organizers, the restaurant, or both. Regardless, the overall experience was disappointing, and based on our experience, I would not recommend this event.
  • business trip dinner, party of 30
I took a group of 30 for a business trip dinner and Carmine's took exceptional care of us! They were extremely responsive during the planning period and provided everything we needed to make decisions up front. Day of, they were ready right on time and service was excellent, there was SO MUCH FOOD for the price. Everyone had a great time and loved the experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
