  As a nyc elopement and wedding photographer, I HIGHLY recommend choosing SAGA to host your private event. The space is absolutely stunning, the staff is incredible and work hard to make your day special, and the food is truly an amazing experience! 10/10!!

  Wow. We heard of SAGA recommended from a friend and we were blown away. The entrance is very unassuming, but once you're sent up the experience is totally cultivated and smooth. A welcome cocktail from an awesome bartender, and then we were taken back to a private Solarium room (absolutely worth it) where we had a ridiculously creative 7 course tasting menu with bento box's, caviar, and cool combinations of classics. This is the perfect date night spot.

  Unfortunately or unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to try the food in the restaurant, but I was touched by a negative experience with the restaurant's event team. I sent 2 requests from the website, which no one answered. I called every day for 2 weeks and no one answered. After 1 week and 3 emails I finally get one from them, and for the next email they answered after 4 days, and never picked up the phone. This is not the kind of service I would like to meet in a high end restaurant to celebrate my anniversary with friends and family. Totally disappointed.

  I brought my clients to Saga and we were completely blown away. The experience was incredible. Every course was delicious, and the level of service was truly exceptional. Taking the elevator up to be greeted with welcome drinks from the bartender to Harris, our server, and Ross, our sommelier, they were each outstanding. With the 10-course menu, it felt like we really got to connect with the entire team. They were intentional about my peanut allergy (no peanuts in the kitchen) and courteous of my clients dairy allergy. The views were stunning—easily one of the most memorable dining experiences in NYC. I couldn’t recommend it more ✨

  i recently enjoyed a business dinner here as a guest, and i was admittedly nervous as i've never been to a fine dining experience quite like this before. it's definitely a special place, with immaculate service and a varied menu to suit plenty of palates! what struck me immediately was how casual it felt, which put me at ease. you would feel right at home in your "normal" clothes, but if you wanted to get decked out, that would work, too! we genuinely appreciated the staff's expertise on every single course, though it's worth noting you will be spending quite a bit on alcohol should you decide to go the bottle route with a large group. that said, the building and interior of the restaurant is exquisite (that view!) and it's clear the staff puts a lot of pride and love into making it a memorable experience. i even noticed they'd made changes based on prior reviews i'd read, which goes to show that they truly care about patron feedback. my only complaint is that the bathroom is quite a bit of distance (and a solid staircase walk) from the dining room, so if you're sporting sky-high heels, it's worth ensuring you can handle a bit of a stroll. still, an absolutely worthwhile experience if you're up for adventure, trying new things, and enjoying a meal in a truly luxe (yet welcoming!) environment. it's a night i'll remember for a very long time.
