  We made reservations for a party of 9 a month in advance (they at first told us they would seat us together but the next day required us to book a reservation of 5 and 4). This was a noon reservation for high tea and we planned our day around this. Four days before the reservation, we were emailed that the only option offered for high tea would be Joyeaux Noel for $125 per person. A few hours before the reservations, we received an email saying it is cancelled. We called to see if it was some glitch or COVID or whatever. It took several calls and 20 minutes to speak with someone who just said they do not know anything except there is unplanned maintenance in the Grand Salon. Upon calling again, the person who answered stated they learned they may need to close yesterday at 5pm and at 8pm, the final decision was made. Not informing us immediately, instead, 12 hours later, is phenomenally poor service. They should have called to cancel or at least had someone available to answer and ensured all staff are knowledgeable to assist guests. It is totally unacceptable and now we are trying to find a last minute reservation for a large group. We wish we had booked elsewhere originally.

  My sister planned me a High Tea Party here for my 45th birthday on June 17th. I had one of the BEST experiences ever. Sophia was extremely nice to us. She was very professional, helpful and very attentive to our needs. When it was time for her to leave she introduced her coworker that would be taking over and he was nice as well. Sophia went above and beyond for us. I would definitely recommend coming here and having afternoon tea. It was well worth the price. The atmosphere is amazing they serves right in the middle under the beautiful chandelier and big red roses on the table. The food was delicious and so were the teas and drinks. I will definitely be back.

  Truly disappointing service. No one wanted to help us, we were quite obviously getting low grade service in comparison to everyone else in the salon. Before we got seated the host informed us we made an incorrect reservation- which i understand is my fault so i asked if there’s any way we can change it if not we’re okay with doing lunch service. A nicer host told us because it’s my birthday they will see what they can do for us and make an exception. I would’ve been fine with lunch service if that’s all they could do because it was my mistake for the reservation. The first host started commanding us to order before we had even taken off our jackets and had a second to look at the menu. We told him we needed a minute to look and he came back rushing us 3 over times even though our full party hasn’t arrived and we were 15 minutes early to our reservation. He kept telling us we needed to order now without giving us time to settle. We ordered, and our order came out wrong. The sever took our order wrong and then left mid service without informing us. I had ordered a floral te but was served earl grey and when we asked for a side table for the massive tea pots that no one else was being served from one of the servers made a joke about the situation which no one found funny. No one tended to us for over an hour. One of the severs rolled his eyes when we asked him to change our plates. No one knew what to do with our table because our server left us without any communication to us or his colleagues. It was my birthday and they had ruined my special event for the day. Me and my friends tried to ignore how poorly we were treated but it was extremely hard to ignore. While the manager tried to make amends before we left even paying the bill was a really challenging task as it took a long time to accomplish especially considering no one was assigned to our table no one wanted to help us close out. We went to another bar with excellent service and tried to erase the memories of such a disappointing experience especially for my birthday. I was really looking forward to my experience but was devastated by the outcome.

  I had an amazing experience, the service was impecable, the food great, they gave me macaroons with a candle as dessert, since I was celebrafing my birthday. The Grand Salon is gorgeous, the bar is sexy.
