  Awful, haughty and hostile—stay away. Terrible vibe in there. I made a reservation for 6 people, and my friends made a separate reservation for 6 people. They were extremely strict that both tables should be seated far from one another, and said absolutely at no times can anyone go from one table to another. It’s sitting only, you cannot stand, even for a second. None of this was communicated clearly by the staff, and instead, we were chastised for standing at times—even when I went to greet someone, I was met with dirty looks from the staff. They went up to a friend of mine and said, flatly, “have you ordered yet.” Not “what can I get you to drink?” Or anything of that nature. They also angrily reminded us we were getting close to the 90-minute limit at our table, despite the website stating that the limit is 2 hours for a party larger than two people. I think they want very badly to “curate a vibe”, but they did everything in their power to kill the vibe for all of us. We’re a respectful, pretty quiet and lowkey group of friends. Nothing should have been an issue here. I was even told I was standing when I was on my way to use the restroom! Like what is this, the opera? It’s insane. They are so rude—we spent close to $500 and it was highway robbery. Never going there again. Additionally, the lights are a bit too bright and you can see how cheap the interior really is. At first it seems luxe, but when you look closely it’s not. It’s a cheap coat of maroon paint splattered on the walls and a few velvet couches, but the space really feels off. It kind of looks like they hastily remodeled a doctors’ office waiting room. There’s some bad vibes about this place—stay away. This feels very un-Brooklyn and doesn’t have any of the charm of this neighborhood. They think they’re King Cole Bar or something, but they’re just a cheap knockoff version that would be in Florida or Vegas. They’ve only been open 6 months, but it’s 6 months too many IMO.
