  • private room dinner, party of 30
Absolutely incredible experience hosting a dinner for 30 in the gorgeous private room! Food, service & decor of the space was A+ and we had a great experience!
  • hosted dinner party, party of 11
We had a memorable dinner on Oct 26 when my husband and I hosted for a special group of 11 guests! Big thanks to General Manager Edwin Hwu for his pre-recommendations on menu choices and details for the evening — serving a 10-course dinner to our group of 6 strict vegetarians, 5 non-vegetarians and sitting together at one table (which was important to us)! Superlative praises for the excellent quality dishes we had, to the staff for pacing the simultaneous serving of two different menus flawlessly, and for making it an intimate experience by all. We will surely be back!
  • private event
What a fantastic restaurant with such a warm staff. We have been at the restaurant and really enjoyed their food and atmosphere. We decided to have a private event at Grandma's Home. It was a pleasure working with Laura on our party plans. Our guests were all raved about the delicious food, fun cocktails, and wonderful service. In addition, the staff is so warm and accommodating. They were very thoughtful and went out of our way to make it such a nice night for the party.
  • large group dinner
whoever give 5 stars to this is absolutely have not yet eat or try the real authentic and good Chinese food. We found this place from Xiaohongshu and there are so many great comments about this restaurant, and then we decided the try it out since Grandma’s home has a great reputation in Hangzhou. But yea, apparently we got scammed…. Start with couple good things, parking was easy to find, the restaurant environment is nice and is giving us a luxury vibes. The appetizer fish is crispy and the sauce is balance. And that’s it, I could not think of anything good about this place except those two things. We do expect to have good service from the server since the place is fancy and we’re expecting their service team can match their environment vibe. Plus we need to pay 20% tips for a large group of people which is understandable cuz this is minimum for a large party. But, the girl server doesn’t really care about us and even roll her eyes and seems very inpatient when I try to order and figure out what’s good about the menu. The lack of professionalism and communication is ridiculously frustrating me because you could’ve give me some suggestions. Every one just busy on their stuff they don’t come to check on you to see if you are ok or need anything. Yall really need to improve your customer service, Your food and service clearly don't match the restaurant's positioning.
