- wedding after party, party of 100
Outstanding food, drink and service! We recently booked Stout for a large group celebrating my daughter's wedding. We booked Stout for a late night after-party 2AM - 4AM and the brunch on the day after and I couldn't be more thrilled! The after party featured beer towers on beautifully laid out tables with buckets of beer and hard cider that were immediately accessible to all 100+ guests who attended the party. Cocktails were available at the bar and provided by a well-staffed group of the friendliest bartenders around. The soaring space is beautifully lit and very welcoming. Our guests loved it and everyone had a blast. Ditto for brunch. The managers, Claire and Catherine, were amazing and so accommodative. They and their staff have worked together for years and their teamwork shows. We are already planning a 1 year anniversary party there for next year! I cannot recommend Stout more highly if you're planning a party or just hanging out in FiDi. Can't wait to return back!
- corporate dinner
My company hosted a dinner here in March and everything was fantastic. From planning to execution, Shinobu, was an amazing point of contact. She worked with me on a menu, a suitable drink package, ensuring my company had more than enough space to enjoy ourselves. It was an amazing experience. The team was exceptional as well, so prompt on plating appetizers and refilling drinks, and the most kind people. Thank you Shinobu and Team!
- company gathering, party of 15
Had a wonderful experience at Stout NYC in the Financial District on John Street! The place is spacious, vibrant, and perfect for hosting holiday parties, team outings, and company gatherings. The ambiance and overall vibe are excellent, with great music, drinks, and food that truly make the experience enjoyable. What really stood out was the service. Since we were a group of 15, they ensured we had a dedicated server assisting us throughout the evening, including helping us manage separate tabs smoothly, which made everything so convenient. A special thank you to the Stout NYC team for hosting us on the evening of June 2nd, 2026. We had an amazing time and will definitely recommend this place to others looking for a great group gathering spot in NYC!
- wedding party, party of 23
I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff turned a disaster into one of the best nights ever for my best friend’s wedding! When our party bus broke down, Stout was willing and able to accommodate our party of 23 people. Claire took great care of us and even played the bride and groom’s wedding song so my friends could have their first dance. We are all very grateful for their help and hospitality with such short notice!
- group gathering
We went there last Friday Dec 19th 2025! The overall experience at this restaurant was unacceptable. The food quality was barely acceptable and does not merit even a one-star rating. The service was particularly poor. Our group repeatedly had to ask for basic necessities that should be provided automatically. Utensils were not brought to the table, despite multiple requests. Blue cheese dressing—specifically requested for the chicken wings—the server just forgot we asked for few times., and ketchup for the fries was never provided. No napkins were offered at any point. Even soft drinks were served without straws. Additionally, the dip served with our chips had an extremely hard surface and was impossible to break or eat, making it completely inedible. The servers frequently disappeared, and we waited approximately 25 minutes simply for utensils and condiments. This was especially frustrating as we were part of a group gathering, and the lack of attention significantly disrupted the experience. Overall, this establishment demonstrated a serious lack of organization, attentiveness, and basic service standards. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience. Horrible! Horrible!
