  I was there tonight for a friends birthday party. It was in the private room where the Copacabana was, I had no idea it was spectacular. The operations manager Milan.Stojanovic could not have been nicer and more accommodating so personal and was happy to make sure everything was running well. Other than the birthday man, I think the star of the show was our server and head, concierge guy for lack of better words, Vladimir. We had a wonderful experience thanks to him from the moment we were seated. He was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was perfect. He was checking in at the right time, but was never intrusive. Our food arrived promptly. Our drinks were always refilled, and the positive attitude of the entire staff truly enhanced the entire dining experience. Excellent service like this makes a big difference and we will definitely be back because of it. Thank you for an amazing night!!!!!

  We hosted a Supper Club private dinner for 30 guests last week and have only good things to say about Avra Madison! Laura and Arianna were incredibly helpful in planning this event. The staff took incredible care of our group not to mention the food and cocktails were delicious. We would absolutely recommend having dinner or hosting a private event at Avra Madison!

  As perfect an experience as you could hope for. We were part of a large party of 40. The service was excellent, food served family style was delicious and bountiful. The space downstairs absorbed the sounds of conversations to allow everyone to enjoy each other. A really nice evening.

  We just had an 11 person party ranging from my 8 year old son to my parents in their 80s, for my sister’s birthday dinner. I cannot say enough nice things about Avra. Their service was impeccable. The staff from hostess to waiters and all table staff were unfailingly polite and *warm*. They were friendly and kind in a way that so many Manhattan restaurants simply are not anymore. We brought our own cake. There was no fee for cutting. The table was ready early so we could set up some decorations we brought. We had a large bouquet of flowers. They graciously held onto it for us during dinner. Even with such a large party, the gratuity was not automatically added. We happily gave extra. The food is fantastic, especially if you enjoy seafood. All the seafood was fresh and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is light airy with a lively environment without being loud. We were able to talk to each other easily though the restaurant was packed. The music played at a tasteful volume in the background. This was my second experience at the restaurant after having come for a work lunch. The service and food were likewise impeccable on that occasion as well. Whether it’s dinner or lunch, large or small parties, I simply cannot recommend Avra enough.

  Avra is fabulous! From the food to the service and even the atmosphere - it is perfection! Oh and the lunch prix fixe has all my favorites too. How amazing? We are now bringing my family back to celebrate my dad's birthday too! A heartfelt thank you to Ciara for ensuring that all needs are accommodated with care.
