  We made a reservation, which I would recommend. The pancake flight is worth it. Blueberry was my personal favorite. We also ordered pie. Everyone was delicious. The service was great! A group of eight people, and we could have left in under an hour.

  Food was delicious!!! Went at about 9am on a Friday and had a very short wait for party of 2. I got the Abe Lincoln breakfast and it was such a good serving size. You get a good amount of food for the price, which is rare in nyc. My only suggestion is to please get REAL sugar for your coffee. This place only has sugar alternatives (stevia, etc.) which is so not nyc🙁

  We were scared to wait in a line that wrapped around the corner in 30 degree temps, but were glad we did. Our group of 6 was seated in roughly an hour. Food service is extremely fast. We loved biscuits and the fresh jam to start. The Abe Lincoln platter was phenomenal - especially the sausage, grits and pancakes. The pancake platter was one of a kind and the bananas foster version was amazing. Great spot for groups wanting a delicious and special dining experience.

  The location is charming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The menu offers a good selection of comfort food, and the quality of the dishes was decent. However, the service was not up to par. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, we experienced long wait times for our food, and the staff seemed somewhat inattentive. Additionally, the prices were quite high for what was offered. It gets very crowded during peak hours, and while the food is delicious, the noise from other patrons can be quite overwhelming inside. We also encountered an unexpected additional charge for being a party of six; a 20% large party gratuity was automatically added to our bill. This policy wasn't clearly communicated beforehand. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the overall experience was just average. It's a decent place if you're in the area, but there are better options available for the price.
