  We celebrated our marriage ceremony with five of our friends. For parties of 7 or more, you’re requested to work with the GM and his office (Stephen Denaro). Overall, the process was smooth prior to the event to reserve and pay for the meal. We had an amazing prix fixe meal, served family style. For first course, our favorites included charcuterie and escargot. For second course, our favorites included the rotisserie chicken and steak. You must also have the namesake gratin (we added pomme frite as well). For dessert, my favorite was the apple tart. We had several servers helping us, including the sommelier, who we worked with before the guests arrived to choose a half bottle of Champagne and a gorgeous red Burgundy.

  We celebrated my daughter's engagement with a group that started out as 7 people, then went to 9 people and then to 11 people. I had reserved an extra table for two but we had even two more. The staff was so accommodating and helpful even though it made the serving much more difficult. We had the best time and everyone loved their meals. I can't wait to go back when it is a regular meal and I can focus more on the food. I already know what I want to order. Thank you, Le Gratin for a perfect night.

  I have attended Le Gratin for both brunch and dinner service. Last night, I attended for dinner with my boyfriend and his family. We had a large party reservation of over 10 people that continued to grow in the days leading up to the reservation. Le Gratin was beyond accommodating of all of our guests, making sure each person felt comfortable and ready to enjoy a delicious meal. Because of our large party, we were brought an array of the best items on the menu including the crab salad, tuna crudo, leek salad, and fresh oysters for our appetizers. For our entrees, we had the cod, branzino, hanger steak, whole roasted chicken, and the côte de boeuf. Each of these served with their signature sides, including their namesake, a delicious and perfectly cooked gratin. The standouts were absolutely the roasted chicken, hanger steak, and côte de boeuf. Each dish was more impressive than the last, which was already hard to accomplish. The dinner had its perfect end with delectable desserts like the melba, crème caramel, and chocolate cake. Overall, it was such an incredible experience for all of our guests. From the incredible personal and considerate service to the exquisite food, it was one of the best dinners I have had in New York City. Le Gratin is a must visit!

  Had a wonderful birthday celebration at Le Gratin for a party of 8. The decor was elegant and warm, the service was welcoming and professional from our server (Noah and team) to Sommelier, and the menu offered a wide range of selection. Every course was delicious and thoughtfully prepared—personal favorites include the Foie gras, Escargot, Côte de Boeuf, Roasted Mallard Duck, and Profiterole! Grateful to have had such a delicious and memorable celebration with family and friends.

  10 guests ranging in age from 4 to 83. My mother’s 83rd birthday. Absolutely fantastic. No other word to describe the experience. Plenty of attentive staff, comforting and elevated dishes, delicious drinks. Fantastic all around. No kidding.
