  We attended a private dinner on a Friday night at Delmonico’s. The service was outstanding and a highlight. We had a smaller menu selection but everything was wonderful. Our favorites were the bacon appetizer, ribeye and the cheesecake.

  The experience of such an elegant renowned restaurant was incredible. I was there with my wife an four others to celebrate a birthday dinner. I had to call in favor to get a last minute reservation but it was well worth it. We all had drinks, steaks, several sides and deserts. The bill was quite expensive but worth it for the experience. I definitely will come back next year.

  Had dinner with my family after a Broadway show. The last time I was here was about 10 years ago. I used to work on Liberty for many years and it was nice to stop by for dinner. We were a party of 7. The appetizers were good. The bacon and the crab cake. We also did the wedge salad and it was good. The porter house was good, but not how I remembered. My sister in law’s steak was not cooked right. The sides- cream spinach, brussels sprouts, and hash were good. The staff were friendly and the decor still has that flare, but the food was just ok.

  I have been wanting to go here for a long time and finally did make it a couple weeks before Christmas with a group of friends. The place was very nice and well decorated. When I ordered my steak medium well and butterflied (sorry haters, thats how I like it) they said they don't butterfly so I said Ok just do what you need to for medium well then. (I've had other expensive steaks not butterflied that came out perfect). of course it came out more like medium rare, so it went back along with several others at the table who had ordered theirs medium or medium rare and everything was undercooked. It took a while, and the staff were not that friendly about it and the appetizers that got cold while we waited for not new, but further cooked steaks. Time with friends was nice, but I won't be going back when there are so many other options in this category.
