  I just wrapped up the most epic Holiday Luncheon Party from my healthcare staffing company ProMed Staffing Resources at ilili restaurant NOMAD and I'm still buzzing! Jessie Jodet, Private Event Manager extraordinaire, made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail are unmatched. We were in good hands! Stepping into ilili felt like a holiday miracle: festive vibes, twinkling lights, and a tree that sparkled like magic. The private room was perfection, accommodating our crew of 30 with ease. But let's talk food… oh, the food! ilili took us on a delicious Lebanese culinary journey. Creamy hummus, mouthwatering fattoush, crunchy falafel... and don't even get me started on the mains (beef and chicken kebab, halibut on squash purée…YUM!). And those crafted cocktails? To. Die. For. The service was top-notch, too. Carlos, our waiter, was attentive and friendly, and Jessica, the manager, stopped by to ensure we were all having a blast. If you're looking to book your next company event, you know what to do. ilili NOMAD is the place to be. Jessie and the team will make sure you and your guests have an unforgettable time.

  My favorite Lebanese place in town! the service was a bit of a miss, but the food made up for it. We came in as a large party of 30+ seated in the private second floor dining room. Food was phenomenal. My favorites include the rkaykat, beef kebab, branzino (yes!) and brussel sprouts. I have to give a shout out to the Lebanese rice. Amazing. The chicken kebab was bit overdone, the kibbeh/steak tartar was strangely oily, and the knafe dessert was a bit calorie dense. Service was slow, many in our party did not receive their sodas until halfway through the meal. water was refilled for some at the table, but not others quite strange. all in all, can recommend and would come again.

  TLDR; this place is perfectly fine if you are dining as a small group, but their arrangements for large groups requiring the pre fixe option and working with their event managers is subpar and chaotic. I recently celebrated my birthday at ilili with a group of friends. They require the pre fixe menu selection for parties of 11 or more, which of course is perfectly fine. You get to select 2 entrees as a part of the 4-course pre-fixe option. I selected the mushroom grape leaves as one of them because we had several vegetarians in the group. They brought out one - a single one - for the entire table. It was awkward and confusing; how are we supposed to split it into 10-11? I asked the waiter to check that this was correct, which he went back to confirm with the kitchen. I don't know who at ilili decided this was a sensical idea or what the event manager was thinking. Also, they offer to put a custom logo if you would like on your menu, which is a lovely gesture. However, when we arrived I realized they hadn't actually put the logo I had sent, which just looks unprofessional. Not to mention I had to email it twice to the coordinator when we were planning the event prior because she kept asking me for the same information multiple times during our email conversations. So communication was frustrating and did not meet the level of expected professionalism. This might have been just a birthday celebration, but what if it were larger, branded organization? If you have something higher stakes in mind, I highly recommend going somewhere else where people are more professional and reliable. I honored my side of the contract by paying what I had agreed to upfront, which was much more than what we actually consumed (because one person got sick at the last minute and couldn't join and they have a food & beverage minimum which we didn't meet, so I basically paid ~$400 in excess). Is it really too much to expect ilili to also honor their promise? Finally, we had to wait to sit at our table because they said it wasn't ready, which as disappointing because it is not like there was another group sitting there before us and I had made it clear several times when making the reservation that we had to leave at a certain time. Our coordinator said that she put a note about this to make sure the restaurant staff were aware and that they would make sure not to delay us. So we ended up having to wait to be seated, which easily could have been avoided if the staff were more organized. Other than these issues, our waiter Matthew was phenomenal and the food itself was fine. As I said, if you are a small group, this is a perfectly fine place with plenty of choices and good service. The vegetable dishes are great and the candy bar dessert is awesome. If you are looking for a professional coordinator team and ease of communication, there are plenty of other venues and options in NYC.

  Place is very pretty and ambience is nice. We went as a party of 15ppl and booked a semi private area in the mirror room. All the food was great and all my family and friends enjoyed every dish. Our server, Mathew, was awesome and really helped everyone at the table.

  We hosted my son’s graduation party at ilili. The food was extraordinary, the catering contact Jessie was very helpful, including with decorations for the room, and Andrew the waiter assigned to our group was terrific. One guest mentioned a citrus allergy and he went out of his way to make sure that every dish she was served was without citrus and even had a special sauce made up for her. The non-alcoholic beverages were delicious and lots of fun for our under 21-year-old guests especially. I had dined at the restaurant before, but never for a private function. I would definitely recommend it highly.
