  Highly recommend and definitely make a reservation beforehand! Walk up wait times were around 2 hours on a Saturday night. The hostess, Sarah, was beyond incredible in helping to accommodate our group and she made our night! The ambiance in the back patio especially on a warm night is incredible. We did family style for several dishes on the menu and loved each one - our waiter helped to group them into courses for a good flow and table space. Seafood was fresh and food and flavors were well prepared. Inside seating seemed a little loud but still great vibe.

  Oysters were excellent, and the cocktails were good, but the service was terrible. We were there for my mother's birthday, and I was told 4 separate times (via text, email, and twice in person) that we had to clear out within 90 minutes. That wouldn't have been a problem if not for the incredibly unattentive service. Throughout the meal, we kept having to flag down random staff members for menus, to place orders, and generally to beg to have our server come to our table. For the prices they're charging, and if they're going to set the tone that it needs to be a quick meal, that level of service is completely unacceptable. Hard to have a 90 minute dinner when your sever disappears for 20-30 minutes every time. It's a shame, because the food ranged from good to excellent, but when you're spending hundreds of dollars you shouldn't have to be stressfully staring at the clock and begging for the most basic level of service the whole time.

  Cool place to hang out with friends with an excellent ambience. Good cocktails and excellent oysters. The only reason I don’t give a 5 stars is because in my first visit here, with a big group of friends. one of the staff members was really rough with us about we were a “little loud”. Which part of the term “bar” this person have no idea what’s meaning, but mingle and laughing is what people do in a bar. Is not a movie theater or a opera room to be quiet. I had to confront this staff member regarding his attitude. There are many ways to ask persons to keep it a little low instead coming across and yell. I don’t have a clue what is the position of this person at this establishment, but should be trained in customer service. For everything else, good place to enjoy a good drink and good oysters

  We had an amazing experience at dinner last night. The waiter, Jake, was very knowledgeable about the oysters. He was polite, attentive, and professional. Some of our party had to work later than we expected when I made the reservation, and they were accommodating in pushing our reservation back when I called. The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere in the back garden was exactly what we wanted. We will be back. After walking by it very often and my girlfriend nudging me that we needed to go, my expectations were high, and they were exceeded.

  I’ve been here while in NY from Italy and, let me say, it was one of the highlights of our trip! The place is crazy pretty, both the dining room and the garden (where we were seated), great cocktails, and the food was SO GO w we got the oyster selbutter and, oh my god, this bread. I mean, I loved the oysters, they were fresh, tasty and the toppings selection was great, BUT THIS BREAD AND BUTTER!!!! we loved it so much we ordered it twice. The other thing we absolutely loved about this place was the staff: our host was incredibly nice and friendly, she gave us advice about the menu (thanks for suggesting the bread&butter ily) and was in general lovely. After we paid we asked if there was any chance to reserve for 6 people (our whole party) for the next night, knowing it was going to be difficult, but the girl at the door was really helpful, moved a few tables and found us a table! Unfortunately we had to cancel cause one of our friends started feeling sick, and, one month later, I’m still sad about it. The price was New York pricey lol considering everything we ate and drank, and the average bill at a place like this, it certainly wasn’t cheap, but I would’ve expected to spend more to be honest. Overall a really great experience, I’d recommend it to anyone, especially couples seeking a romantic nights or small group of friends. Thank you for your hospitality! ♥️
