  Always the best dining experience at American Bar! The staff is so amazing and the food is always delicious. Our waiter, Richard, provided our group with the best quality service. He gave us great dinner recommendations and was so friendly. Our group had an unforgettable night, and so much was owed to Richard and the rest of the staff’s hospitality.

  Luis is the sweetest manager at American bar! We came for my friends birthday dinner to celebrate but we like to come frequently for the salads ! They’re the best! Belasario was our amazing server!! Highly recommend.

  An upscale standard for NYC. Good food, great service, good drinks and a nice environment. Met up here with a group of friends and we ended up ordering about half the food and cocktail menu and everything was tasty. Coming here won't be a cheap night out, but it will be a good night out.

  My experience at American Bar was absolutely abysmal. There was a happy hour deal advertised on their Instagram, five days before my group had dinner, that all martinis on Sundays and Mondays were $12. My group arrived and we all ordered multiple rounds of martinis. However, when our bill arrived we were told that the deal would not be honored. Our server stated that in order to get the HH offer, we had to mention it to them at the beginning of our meal. We tried to speaking to management who said they could do nothing about it either. I will never be attending this restaurant again and will be discouraging anyone else from going as well. Truly terrible etiquette and service from a has been hotspot.

  Dined here last night, whilst there is pulse you are unable to hear yourself think at the table which is not great for group catch up gatherings. The food was particularly average, as usual huge portions. (Salad $25 plus extras, drinks $20 to give you an idea).
