  This was my second time going to a corporate event at The Spaniard: Pros: - The catered food was excellent — we ordered the grilled cheese bites, smash burgers, fries, bruschetta, corn fritters, and onion rings, and everything was a hit. -Great location and atmosphere. -Our server was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. -The events team was quick and responsive over email, which made planning easy. Cons: The general manager came across as quite unfriendly and cold to me. It made parts of the event feel less enjoyable, which was disappointing given how great the rest of the staff and food were.

  If you’re wanting to find a good spot for your birthday, don’t go here. Took 5 days of back and forth emails to get a reservation for 10 people, and then on the actual night of the reservation our waitress was so rude to one of my friends it was offensive. My friend gave her the same attitude back, and then the waitress had her manager come over to our table as if we’d done something wrong. Instead of trying to solve the situation and apologize for his rude waitress, the manager clearly instructed his staff to collectively end up pushing us out of our table and wouldn’t serve us. TLDR; This place is cute but the staff are all incredibly rude and pompous.

  Do not book a private party here unless you request that this bouncer not work the party! I was here at 6p on a Thursday for a corporate party with open bar and this jerk of a bouncer forced me to throw out my sealed orange juice (that i bought for my daughter) and a water bottle that was in my laptop bag. I've been to 100s of bars in the city and no one does this. He obviously takes joy in bullying people trying to relax after work. There are lots of negative reviews about rude bouncers here don't waste your time so many better bars to choose from
