  • wedding dinner, party of 15
We had our wedding dinner here (15 ppl) in the Wine Cellar last weekend, and it was wonderful! Our guests were still raving about the food days later. Some standouts from the menu include the crab cake appetizers and of course, the filet mignon and porterhouse entrees. The service was also excellent from beginning to end. The planning process for this dinner was extremely easy and straightforward. (Special shoutout to Sheena McKiernan, the Events Manager, for being very responsive to all of my questions in the lead up to our reservation!) And our server Frederick was attentive, kind and accommodating throughout the evening. Another plus about private dining at Club A vs other Manhattan restaurants is the pricing. Most of the other places I looked into charge pretty high room rental fees in addition to everything else, but not Club A. We simply had a food & bev minimum, plus tax and tip, and everyone was able to order off of the regular menu which meant our guests had lots of options. The only thing I would be aware of in booking the Wine Cellar, in particular, is that the space is quite cozy. It's advertised as seating 20 people, however, with 15 adults and a high chair in our party, the space was really full. Not uncomfortably so, but I think with any more people, it may have been too tight. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Club A Steakhouse and look forward to going back on our 1 year anniversary!!
  • birthday dinner, party of 16
Had a wonderful experience at Club A Steakhouse for my husband's birthday! The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional. We had a larger party and were seated in the Living Room. The room was beautiful and spacious for our group of 16 and we could not have asked for a better place to celebrate with friends and family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private space to hold a special event. Thank you Club A!
  • private room dinner, party of 15
Had a dinner for 15 people in the private wine cellar. Everything from the food to the staff was 10/10. Highly recommend for anyone that has a group between 10-20 people to book the wine cellar room
  • private room dinner
Had a great experience, we had a private room with great food and great service. Agron and his team treated us like family, I would highly recommend.
  • 50th birthday dinner, party of 6
I turned 50 in May and was looking for a place to celebrate with my family. There are a million places in NYC but I was looking for something different. I was looking for a reataurant with live music but not loud. Kind of like a “supper club” vibe. I called the restaurant and was lucky enough to speak to Bruno, the owner, who said he would be able to take my party of 6, and I called the day before. When I arrived, Bruno made me feel welcome and is very personable. He asked if the reserved table was okay and if there were any special requests. That alone says a lot about a restaurant! There was live music, simple, elegant, and at a decible where you could have a normal conversation at your table, but still enjoy the music. Our table was the first round table on the right so we were pretty close to the band, (2 instruments and the singer.). My mother and uncle do have some issues with walking but were able to walk down a few steps. I think there were only 2. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Again, we were all brave enough to try a new restaurant, and a steakhouse, at that. The steak was prepared exactly how we liked it. Didn’t need to send it back and the presentation of their dishes was lovely. I also want to share that the restaurant has an upstairs which is absolutely gorgeous. You will need to walk up a flight of stairs but it is worth it! When I got upstairs, I thought how nice it would be to have a corporate function or a bridal shower. Super elegant and is a hidden gem. The windows look out to the street and the room has a charming feel. I really look forward to going back and highly recommend this restaurant. ( I want to mention that my family has been in the restaurant, catering, and hospitality industry for decades, so we can be picky.) Again, thorougly enjoyed our evening. Thank you Bruno for making my 50th Birthday so special and memorable! I appreciated the TLC and how you made me feel so special. I look forward to coming back soon! (Wish I had better pics and would include a video but can’t seem to attach it.)
