  I rented out the Porfyra private dining room for an engagement party. They delivered an outstanding experience! Their service was top notch from booking the reservation to throughout the meal. All around great atmosphere for special occasions. The Porfyra room is also perfect for ten people, round table with amazing acoustics. The seafood is some of the best I have had in New York City. The lamb chops and scallops were to die for. Thank you Milos team for helping us create amazing memories on a special day for our family!

  This review is a bit late, but I had to post. We had the most wonderful holiday luncheon at Milos near the end of December. We originally picked a different date but due to crazy weather we had to move the date around, but the event coordinator and managers were very accommodating. Carolina and Alex were our expert guides on our Greek culinary journey. It's hard to satisfy 11 people, but they pulled it off with superb professionalism and grace. We had Lavraki and Barbouni in salt and watching Carolina carve the succulent meat from the mounds of salt was pure artistry. We followed with the fresh lobster pasta (I know I died and went to heaven), ceviche and octopus that had me flashing back to Mykonos in '95, and the most delicious Greek salad. Finishing up with baklava and karidopita for dessert was perfection. We were there for about three and a half hours and by the end of the meal, everyone was happy, and how many times does that happen?

  I recently hosted my birthday dinner here with a group of friends. While the food was delicious and the space itself is lovely, the service—especially from the manager Rebecca—was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. We had a two-hour open bar package, but when my guests asked for additional drinks, Rebecca rudely told them, “This is not a club or bar, you can’t just ask for drinks like that.” That’s not what you expect with an open bar, and it made everyone uncomfortable. Even worse, one of my guests who wasn’t feeling well after drinking was confronted by Rebecca twice—first in the restroom and then again outside the restaurant—telling her to leave the mall entirely. It felt aggressive and completely unnecessary. The pacing of the dinner was also poorly managed. They brought out the cake before serving the actual dessert course (which they seemed to have forgotten entirely until we reminded them). At that point, it was already past 10 PM. When I tried to speak with Rebecca to share my concerns, she was dismissive and accused me of just being unhappy without addressing any of the valid issues. I was also denied a final check or receipt, even though my credit card was on file—and I still haven’t received one. A special occasion like a birthday should be joyful and smooth. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the management really tainted the experience.

  Amazing Spot for a fancy dinner, we hosted a party of 25+ people and the staff were very thoughtful and food was delicious. The seating was very tight and posed some challenges as wait staff passed but overall, it was a great experience.
