  Perfect venue for a holiday dinner party! We reserved a private room upstairs overlooking the stage, and the live music was fantastic, we were able to enjoy both bands throughout the evening. Having our own private bar made the night feel even more special. We coordinated the event with Masha, the director of operations and events, who was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. She handled all of our requests with ease and offered great suggestions, including top-selling dishes and setup options. Bryan, our bartender, was equally impressive. Several of our guests are whiskey enthusiasts, and his recommendations were spot on. The Flatiron Room offers several private barrel whiskeys they personally select in Kentucky, truly a rare find, as these bottles can’t be tasted anywhere else. This ended up being a highlight of the night, with our guests ordering additional whiskey flights. For our main courses, we ordered the branzino, chicken, and steak, all of which were a hit with everyone. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options if needed. Everything came out cooked perfectly. The service throughout the evening was amazing, the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely impressed our entire group. Many guests mentioned they plan to return, and I can’t blame them. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

  We hosted my mom’s 68th birthday dinner here. We loved the aesthetic and the service was exceptional, especially Isabella! We have a curated menu because we had a large party and the food was delicious! They have live music so we will definitely be back for one of their blues nights!

  The Flatiron Room Team is absolutely amazing. Very attentive, patient, and energetic. I hosted a bachelor party and private whiskey tasting through the Flatiron Room and Devin, the whiskey sommelier, was really knowledgeable and a great educator. The venue is also beautiful. 100% recommend

  We had the pleasure of attending the Thanksgiving dinner this year with live music and outstanding food and drinks. We arrived an hour+ before our reservation as our sight seeing ended earlier than planned. The manager took my family to a special mezzanine table and we relaxed with drinks and listened to the band while waiting for our reservation time and table. He served us personally and made us feel like the VIPs that we certainly are not! Our reservation table was our own semi-private room right off the stage where we could enjoy the band and have an intimate Thanksgiving dinner with the family. The food was unique and bursting with flavor. The bourbon and spirits list is one of the best in the city. The Blanton's Bourbon I had was from a hand selected barrel that the manager personally traveled to the Buffalo Trace Distillery to pick out. The ambiance, lighting, and decor of the Flat Iron Room enhance the experience with beauty, taste, and class. The clientele were beautiful, well dressed, and everyone had a great time. Our server made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant with outstanding timely customer service. Her great attitude and beautiful smile helped cement the night as one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. If you want to impress a date, I've found you a great spot!   This establishment does not deserve the hype. Celebrating a friends birthday who was visiting from out of town and wanted to experience a proper NYC jazz experience. We initially booked a table for 8:30, knowing that there will be live music till later that night. At about 5pm the hostess called notifying us that there will only be live music from 6-8. Changing our plans and leaving just after we payed and entered what we were doing at the time. The. server was rude and dismissive and even after ordering a few flights of whiskey and bourbon he treated us as if we were wasting his time and was not really talking to us while explaining what we are drinking and was rushing through everything as if we don't have any ability to understand. This was disappointing because we were trying to show interest and discuss our own whiskey appreciation and visits to distilleries. While we were in the middle of sipping the flights the same server walked up with a check to rush us out saying that the table is for two hours, which should have been said before being seated. After calling us and asking for our flexibility and understanding we received the opposite from this establishment. The music was great and the space is unique but it seems to be that there has been a loss on how to treat current and potential returning costumers. I really wanted to like this place but they are missing the hospitality part of this industry.
