  We recently had the great opportunity of hosting over 150 close family & friends for cocktails and dinner at an outdoor venue in New York City for my son's wedding, at which we had Junoon cater for the event. My entire family were very pleased and satisfied with the quality of food across the full variety of cocktail snacks, the main courses and the dessert..... a big menu was in full display and all our friends and extended family were raving about the tasty food. More than anything Hemant and his staff, including the master chef, were on site early making all arrangements very smooth and the whole team's attention to detail and service to the guests was exceptional. It felt like Junoon was almost co-hosting the celebration, such was their level of personal care and attention. We are very satisfied with the overall experience!

  We had a party of 10 here for pre fixe lunch menu. The food was excellent. The eggplant chat, achari paneer were the best among savory courses. The rice pudding and kulfi pops were the best among desserts. The taste was nothing short of what you would expect from such an upscale place. The service was good except that they were a little late on the maincourse but that could be because we were a bigger than usual party. They also offered a complimentary chocolate cake for our special event. They explained each food item which made it seem more appetizing to us. Overall we had a great experience and we will be coming back to Junoon.

  I am sure it’s descent restaurant but they don’t allow kids under 10, no exceptions. Which I learned about a day prior to my husband’s birthday celebration (for a group of 7 people). It was a bummer for him because he loves Indian food, but we managed to book at a different place. The restaurant stuff said they have this info on a website, but let’s be honest, very little people go on a web site to check these details. Also I have never been to a restaurant that declined customers with young kids (not babies). If I can make a suggestion, that would be to send a booker a messages at the time reservation is made, stating that the kids are not allowed, to avoid last minute surprises.

  Junior deserves a Michelin STAR! Our server, Rasika, as well as the rest of the staff was excellent. Came here for a birthday celebration, party of ~8. We had a nut allergy as well as a vegetarian and Rasika was extremely helpful in suggesting menu items. Everything we got was delicious and we felt so well cared for. Can’t wait to come back!
