  For logistics planning with Mazi, to the actual event with our server, Martin, our birthday celebration became a cherished memory for everyone. We reserved The Library to celebrate a 30th birthday. Throughout the planning process, Mazi was responsive to questions and helpful with logistics, such as dropping off the cake earlier. We arrived later than anticipated (the dinner was a surprise for the birthday girl) and Martin went above and beyond to making the evening feel truly special. He helped us with arranging the decor, concocted wonderful mocktail flavors for those of us who weren’t drinking alcohol, was thoughtful with the timing of hor dourves and dishes despite our late start, and introduced every dish with gusto. He was incredibly strategic and detail-oriented in handling everything, including unexpected challenges like last-minute cake changes, with such care and dedication. If you need a right-hand man to ensure everything goes smoothly, Martin is that person. I have nothing but compliments for him and the rest of the staff who helped us with making this event a resounding success. The food was incredible and the room felt both spacious and intimate. The birthday girl told me it was the best birthday celebration she’s had! We will definitely be reserving Scarpetta again for future celebrations.

  Really enjoyed a lot of the dishes we had here. We did have a private room as part of a corporate event which was a little loud due to the enclosed walls without much sound insulation. Food however was outstanding. The branzino was delicious, short rib agnolotti, cacio e peppe cappellacci were stars of the show.

  We had an amazing experience with our private dinner. The space was beautiful and the food was some of the best we had during our stay in NYC. Mazi was wonderful to work with in planning the event, and Luis, Alejandra, Willie, and Jose provided incredible service on the day of the event.

  If I could give Scarpetta New York's events team 0 zeros, I would. I have never had a bigger nightmare with a customer service team in my life. After throwing my father a 70th surprise birthday party, Scarpetta completely took advantage of our family, overcharging us by over $2,000. When they were confronted (countless times), our phone calls and emails were completely ignored. They took our money and ran with it. They did not deliver on the contract at all. Beware of this restaurant. I highly advise that you do not throw a private event here (unless you want to be absurdly overcharged).

  I was lucky to attend a private event downstairs, so I enjoyed an amazing platter of cheese and meats and nibbles prior to our family style meal. The pasta here is exceptional, and the short rib agnolotti was the highlight of the show. Exceptional and professional service and a broad menu to enjoy. Beautiful space inside, looking forward to coming back!
