  For a party of 8 we were able to secure one of the private rooms on the second floor that overlook the main dining room. The restaurant is stunning, definitely the type of restaurant you bring people to make them feel special and celebrate. The staff and sommeliers professionalism and expertise showed, helpful without feeling stiff. Our party ordered a set menu that included banchan, salad, steamed egg and individual diners choice of either a cold noodles Naengmyeon, the spicy version bibim Naengmyeon, kimchi jjigae with fresh rice or soy bean stew doenjang jigae with fresh rice. The meat choices for our set menu were fantastic, the photos speak for themselves.

  I tried reaching out to the manager before writing this but she gave me a quick "sorry about that" with no follow up or attempt to rectify the situation so here we go- Had dinner here with a party of 8 this weekend... this dinner literally derailed our entire night bc of how much we all disliked it. Absolutely avoid it with a party of 8+ Let me say first the food was very tasty.. however did not make up for the experience, or lack there of, that we had. For a party of 8 you need to sit in a private room instead of the regular dining area. There is no music in these private rooms like there is throughout the rest of the restaurant, which we found so strange and awkward. The service was horrendous.The server never introduced himself, asked if we had been there, explained the experience or any of the courses to us. This is definitely a restaurant where you want the server to be engaging with you, especially in this quiet, private room. He did not speak. We would start eating the courses because no one told us otherwise , and after we ate them he would then say "this pairs well with the noodles" that were already gone! We all ordered 1 drink because they never once asked if we wanted more (the drinks were NOT good so for the best i guess). He didn't even know how much steak each of us should eat so we started counting for him and figuring out amongst ourselves how many pieces we should be getting each course. When you are paying for a meal as expensive as this, you expect the experience as a whole to be great. There was zero experience. Go to Cote

  Such a fun and delicious dining experience! Came here with a group of six and got complimentary upgrade to the private dining rooms upstairs. We ordered the elite package which came with banchan, egg soufflé, two types of tofu stew, and two types of cold noodles and of course ended the meal with green tea soft serve. The quality of the meat was high and our server did a great job grilling - excellent sear and he even rested the rib eye. Great vibes, moderate noise with an elevated dining experience. Along with a bottle of wine, we tried two of their non-alcoholic drinks - the sweet potato and the sparkling tea (one of the best n/a drinks I’ve tasted). Had a great time and looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend the packages! Great value and delicious meal.

  The food at HOWOO Korean BBQ was good overall. The meats were enjoyable, and the side dishes were also well prepared. Unfortunately, the service significantly detracted from what could have otherwise been a very enjoyable dining experience. Our server/griller was the biggest disappointment of the evening. While he did manage to keep up with grilling for our party of 12 across separate tables, his attitude was consistently unwelcoming, rude, and lacking in hospitality. At times, it genuinely felt as though he did not want to interact with us or even make an effort to be pleasant. One particularly frustrating issue was when we asked to order additional side dishes. Our requests were repeatedly disregarded because we had not yet finished some of the side dishes already on the table and he wanted to have more room. This became uncomfortable enough that some members of our family were actually hesitant to ask for anything else because they were worried about how the server would react. That should never be the feeling a guest has while dining at a restaurant. We tried our best to make the experience enjoyable and not let the situation affect our family gathering, but the server's attitude simply did not improve throughout the meal. Good food can only go so far when the service makes guests feel uncomfortable about asking for what they need. Despite the experience, we still left a 20% tip. However, this was also an expensive meal, and with the prices HOWOO charges, we expected the level of service to be much more polished, attentive, and hospitable. Overall, the food was good, but the service was extremely disappointing. For a restaurant at this price point, top-notch hospitality should be part of the experience, and unfortunately, that was not what we received during our visit. I can't in good conscience recommend this place until they figure out something about their service and overall interactions with guests.

  Came here for an office dinner, they have seperate tiny rooms per group, depending on size. The food was great, pretty red meat heavy, and I got the kimchi soup and the potato pancake, was slightly too oily for my palette. But my group seemed to have enjoyed the red meat.
