  Celebrated a dear friend's birthday in a private dining room. The seasonings were exquisite, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was genuinely warm. A truly satisfying experience! 👍

  Update....Just had dinner at the bar here tonight and the experience was perfect as usual! Gabriel Kreuther, located within the iconic Grace building, is not only one of the finest restaurants in NYC, it's one of the best in the country. I've eaten here a number of times and have even done my father-in-law's 70th birthday party downstairs in one of the private rooms. From the food, service, and atmosphere it has always been perfect! This restaurant is a must visit and my favorite place to dine in NYC.

  One of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. We came with a party of 6 at 7:30pm on a Friday night. First off it took 30 minutes for them to take our orders even though we politely asked that we order as we were hungry and didn’t want to wait around (was already 8pm). Weird but whatever. Fast forward to 8:45 pm the waitress notices that we haven’t gotten any food yet (not even first bites) and then we later found out she forgot to put our order in. So now it’s 9pm and we are just getting first bites (thank god they provided bread earlier or we would have left). The waitress apologized and tried to remedy the situation by offereing some free glasses of champagne / non alcoholic drink, none of us were drinking alcohol so a nice gesture but none of us wanted this. We were all very hungry as we had expressed multiple times. By 9:15pm we got our appetizers but it started to get to the point where we didn’t want the full 4 course prix fixe that we ordered (which turned into 5 course because some people ordered two entrees instead of a dessert which the waitress said was completely fine to do). So we ended up asking for our final course to be packaged up to go as by the time we left it was 10:30pm and we would have been there for at least another 30 minutes. What really made it the worst and why I’m giving 1 star is that the MANAGER NEVER came up to us and apologized! Zero interaction from the manager and no real remediation for ruining our birthday evening. The waitress did not take anything off our bill either even though the final two courses were completely ruined. They should have at least comped part of our meal and gave us the 3 meal prix fixe since we didn’t even want the four meal by the time we were getting it and packaged it up. We could barely even eat the third course because it was so late. For the manager to not even come up to us or apologize is ridiculous. And zero remediation is ridiculous. 2 michelin stars? What a joke - avoid at all costs

  Came for a group lunch, incredible. Service was phenomenal from start to finish. Wine was great and you could tell that so much love and care went into each dish. Will be back.

  Our group of friends went to Gabriel for a birthday and had a fantastic time. Our server Ulises was very kind and helpful. Food was delicious and very memorable. Our favorites of the meal were the oysters (amuse), cheese course, orecchiette, and the wine. It’s been about two weeks since we last visited but we haven’t stopped talking about this place since. They even gave us left-handed silverware!
