  I am writing to express my disappointment with the dining experience my party and I had at your restaurant. The primary issue we encountered was the excessive saltiness of the food. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, the replacement took an additional 30 minutes, which we understand can happen. However, what added to our dissatisfaction was the behavior of our server, Quinn. She repeatedly approached our table every 10 minutes, reminding us of the time left and informing us about a purported extra charge of 750/half hour to extend our dining time. This constant reminder was intrusive and negatively impacted our overall enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, our party consisted of 12 people, and we spent over $3,500 on the dinner. To our surprise, we were charged an additional fee for a small birthday cake for the birthday girl, which we found unreasonable given the amount we had already spent. We believe that such service is not reflective of the standards we expect from your establishment, and it significantly affected our dining experience. We hope you will address these concerns promptly to ensure the satisfaction of your customers in the future.

  We had dinner at JoJo with a group and overall had a nice experience. The restaurant itself is quaint and charming, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. The watermelon gazpacho with poached shrimp was the real highlight and the cocktails were also excellent. Unfortunately, the main courses didn’t quite live up to the starters. My husband’s duck was overcooked and chewy, my sea bass was very thin and a bit underwhelming in portion (although the flavor was great), and the chicken was bordering on undercooked. Our group also left still feeling a little hungry. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere and service were lovely, but for a Jean-Georges restaurant, we were expecting the meal itself to be a little more memorable.

  I dined at JoJo on a Sunday evening for my friend’s bachelorette party, expecting a Michelin-star experience. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing in several ways. Seated on the second floor, we found both the food and service lacking. The food did not live up to its reputation, but the service was the most troubling aspect. A waitress with curly hair and another with thick glasses and braids were particularly unhelpful. One of them spilled oily food on my friend‘s Chanel bag. Instead of addressing the mishap with an apology or any form of assistance, they responded with attitude and dismissed our concerns. When we tried to raise the issue with management, we were abruptly told ”goodnight“ and our complaint was ignored. This level of service is unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant like JoJo. I hope this feedback prompts improvements in both their food quality and customer service.

  Elegant and cozy decor and friendly staff. Dined with a big group (8). The tuna tartare appetizer was delish and the sea bass was amazing - the sauce for the sea bass made the dish. The chocolate chip cookie was the best dessert option.
