  Last Thursday I launched a new venture in NY, the Rivendell Center--an academic center that explores the history of our civilization--and we needed a classy reception venue following a film screening at the Tribeca Film Center. We found that venue at Locanda Verde Tribeca. Everything exceeded my expectations: Our beautiful private room comfortably accommodated our 65 or so guests--the room was buzzing with excited filmgoers, but not too crowed to be uncomfortable. The heavy hors d'oeuvres and wines and cocktails were splendid and in plentiful supply. We had several people offer remarks to express their support for this new venture, and the room was sufficiently insulated from the restaurant crowd outside our walls so that everyone could be heard and everyone was engaged. The cheerful staff was unfailingly professional. There were numerous people in attendance who are not easily impressed--and they all said that the Locanda Verde was fantastic--the perfect venue for our gathering. This was a 'soft launch' for the Rivendell Center--only one chance to get it right--and I couldn't have asked for a better evening. Grazie mille per tutto! A thousand thanks for everything, my new best friends in Tribeca!

  Awesome experience here with a group of 40. Great food and such a cooperative staff. Excellent waiters, especially Evan, and Cornelia, and their boss Enrique. So very helpful and professional in every way. I just wish the event coordinator would have been more helpful and communicative. Hard to get ahold of and very little communication. This leads to unnecessary stress for all. This was a frustrating part of the journey!

  We hosted my sister's bridal shower at Laconda Verde Tribeca and I can't thank their team (especially Dante) for helping make the day run as smoothly as possible. Their attention to detail, support and kindness were genuinely appreciated and the whole team truly went above and beyond to help make the event amazing for us and our guests. The food, drinks, atmosphere were all an 11/10. THANK YOU to the whole Laconda Verde team. I couldn't recommend using their space for your next event enough!

  Was part of a birthday party for 65 adults. Very pleasantly suprised at quality of food and dervice. Main dining roon is noisy and busy. Repeated remarks were, " I'm so full but I can't stop eating this wonderful food."

  We booked a party of eight for our daughters 21st birthday, we went by a few hours before our reservation to see if we could be moved to indoor seating; we were told they were booked but we would be put on a waitlist. We were a bit tight in the shared “cabana” but happy to celebrate our daughter. The inside restaurant had several empty tables that would have accommodated our party and they remained empty until they closed. The food was delicious but the service was awful. Cheese for pasta was brought out after we finished our meal. We barely saw our waitress and often needed to go into the restaurant to look for service.We asked the cake (we paid $12.00 per person cutting few) be brought out as some of the party needed to catch a train; needless to say it was all rushed and didn’t feel great.This was a favorite restaurant when we lived in the city and unfortunately we will not return; neither will our daughter and her friends.
