• penthouse party

  Nice hotel and venue for meetings and special occasions. Had a party in the penthouse. Beautiful view. Food was okay. Passed hors d'oeuvres, pasta, salad, sliders, fries. Need improvement in their ladies broom in the penthouse. One stall had a shaky toilet seat, another was out of service, the handicapped stall didn't have a lock so anyone could slide open the door, and it's very dark. DJ was great. Overall it's a nice place.

  I recently held a very important MICE VIP event at the Dream Down Town Hotel and I would like to extend my highest praise to Merilou De Los Santos, Complex Sales Manager. He's very passionate and he's a very good employee who responds to customers with a sense of ownership. If you're interested in hosting an MICE organization in New York, I highly recommend him Furthermore, Jeremy Drewery, who provided support throughout the process, was exceptionally efficient and prompt in executing all tasks.

  I attended an awards ceremony. This is an excellent place to have an event. I loved the visual arts gallery and the event space was decorated very well.

  Doginal Dogs just wrapped up an incredible 3day private event at the Dream Hotel 🔥 10/10 experience from start to finish. The staff took care of each and every person with real care, PHD brought toptier hospitality, and TAO continues to make every event with us better and better. BIGGGG shoutout to Michal 🤝 What a guy. He made sure everything was on point, on time, and taken care of. Can’t wait for TAO to host the Doginal Dogs again!

• wedding room block

  Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked our wedding room block here and had about 20 rooms. We dropped off our guest bags two days before anyone checked in (we spent so much time and money on these - they were custom bags that had waters, Advil, gum, tissues, chips, electrolytes, makeup wipes, and custom cards for a local bagel shop so guests can get breakfast the morning after the wedding) and they all had names on them for the guests who booked through the block from the list sent from the hotel. We gave a few extra bags with no names in case anyone booked but not through the block. I explained this to the front desk and manager on duty when I dropped them off and they said they would go through each reservation and give them to the right guests. NONE WERE GIVEN OUT. I guess the front desk just kept them all for themselves because none of our guests received them (hundreds of dollars worth of products). 3 rooms asked for the bags because they knew we dropped them off and they were given the random bags with no names, however these bags only had the water bottles in them which means the staff went through our bags and STOLE everything else. This was absolutely unacceptable and I reached out to the hotel to ask what happened and all they did was yell at me (this call was recorded and I told corporate to listen to it). I then reached out to corporate and they did nothing. 0/10 recommend this hotel for your wedding block.
