  I am so happy I chose Philippe Chow for my daughter's bat mitzvah reception. Regina and Edis worked with me for a year and a half to customize the menu and bar selections and created keepsake bar cards and menus for my guests. The service was impeccable during the event and everyone absolutely loved the food. Planning this important day was an absolute pleasure and it was executed flawlessly. I am so grateful to the whole team for all the effort and thoughtfulness.

  Some of the worst customer service experience for a fine dining restaurant I’ve had in my life. Groups of more than 8 must order via the tasting menu which has horrible options for vegetarians. We intentionally made a reservation for two tables of 8 through the phone with the reservation manager to avoid the tasting menu requirements for our group. Upon arrival we were greeted by a large man with a horrific attitude talking back to women in our group exasperated with the situation and unaccommodating of the exact situation we spoke on the phone to resolve. After a heated back and forth the large man capitulated begrudgingly. Jay-Z might mention this place in his songs but damn maybe the ego and fame got to their heads and they became complacent and nonchalant about providing real care to their patrons. The food was good - solid 4 stars, the other servers were good too. The atmosphere is average. The decor is falling off in places and bathrooms very unclean for a place you spend $100+ per person. All in all fine experience but the absolute attitude upon entry which lasted for a good 15 minutes with our group left a LOT to be desired. There are much better places in the city for This price point where you’re treated genuinely.

  It was an excellent experience at Philippe Chow as we had a Group Dinner that was outstanding from the company that attended and how accommodating the staff is! We arrived to setup and the staff was professional and it shows great leadership! The different courses went through all the way to the Red Velvet Cake! If I talk about the Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Filet Mignon, the DUMPLINGS....if you have a chance to experience this location, take advantage and enjoy the ambiance at Philippe Chow!

  Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We loved the vibe, the live DJ was playing great music. We had a party of 11 and we were catered to perfectly. Every dish came out hot and amazingly delicious. Service was perfect and food was the best I've ever had in NYC. Will Absolutely be dining here again!

  All foods ordered were great, all drinks ordered were great, birthday desert was great, ambience was great, service was excellent... what more could we ask for... We were a party of 10, there to celebrate a friend's birthday and it could not have been better. It is a beautiful and classy restaurant that accomodated us nicely and exceeded expectations. We did not have to be "careful" or extra posh as with some other restaurants built on "faux" presence. The service was excellent... the waiters obviously take pride in their jobs and were clearly there to serve us. We tried several of their dishes (i dont know the exact names now) including duck wraps, orange shrimp in batter, green shrimp, mahimahi fish (i think), dumplings, fried calamari, chicken wrap etc... and mostly had the lychee cocktail, and the birthday desert. ALL were great. At about 10pm when the kitchen was closing, music became more audible and we loved it... we dance a bit on our seats and birthday girl felt great. We took several photos and laughed a lot. Our bill was just about $1,000... i found it very reasonable and affordable! Dont pass up on this place, it's totally worth it!
