  We rented out the whole place for a private company celebration. The views are second to none and the signature cocktails are professionally made. Can’t say anything about the everyday look-n-feel of the place, but the event turned out absolutely amazing and the staff was impeccable.

  I return here again and again. It is my favorite spot to bring my "jaded" Native New Yorker friends to blow them away with the experience of walking into this room decor, which then sets off the fab views. For NYC, the prices are on-par with any high-end bars. I always order a Foggy Bottom cocktail, and the oysters which the presentation always sets the tone for the evening. The Labneh with salmon caviar is delicious and always a popular choice. Also for splurges would always choose the caviar, and of course Bellota (the melt in your mouth Jamon Iberico). I've also brought clients and we have rented the entire venue for birthday celebrations which were huge successes. The service is always EXCELLENT by both the service staff, and the amazing sales & management event staff. Cannot recommended them highly enough. A final note: another reason I return here so often with friends and clients over other spots is that I love the idea of supporting Jose Andres' high-end endeavors considering all he does for humanity with World Kitchen. Bravo!

  Okay, not great is how I would describe yesterday’s outing. Definitely not worth the high tea $130 per person + 22% service charge they tagged on. For 6 people it came out to $1k which $170 was tip. Everything would have been fine if not for bad service. We went 30 mins without tea refills after we had to personally flag people down. I’m not sure what happened. When we got there earlier than the rest of the party, the guy came to us about 3-4 times. Everything was good. As soon as the rest of the party all got there, things changed. We barely got any attention and on multiple occasions seen the same guy walk over to the same party sized table next to us, ask them how’s everything and then turn around and walk the opposite direction from us. We were set to grab some proper drinks but after that we chose to go to Oscar Wilde bar around the corner. It’s unprofessional to be treated like that and then just drop the bill on our table (without asking us if we wanted to order anything else) with a 22% service charge. They are really lucky that I didn’t have the heart to prolong our stay to speak with the manager. We came there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and to have a good time. We made the best of it by trying to flag the staff down and not let it get to us. One of the bathrooms had overflowing paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor. Not sure how common that is. The views are truly stunning, even for a New Yorker we enjoyed taking it in. The decor is super picturesque. Shame the place didn’t live up to the hype…

  The place is nice. But they sardined 6 of us into a small couch while keeping two bigger ones open for a group(s) that never showed, and despite asking multiple times, they remained adamant about a larger group. And promptly told us another reservation is coming to get out as soon as we finished ordering our last round of drinks even tho we were still having them.
