  I ordered a small group (5 person) lunch from Sant Ambroeus for an important customer meeting and came away disappointed. The food itself was fresh and flavorful, and I enjoyed it. However, for a nearly $400 order, the value and execution didn't match expectations. The portions were surprisingly small, and two bread orders that were included in the purchase never arrived. Under normal circumstances, I probably wouldn't write a review over missing bread. But when you're ordering for a customer-facing meeting, reliability matters just as much as food quality. I expected more from a restaurant with Sant Ambroeus' reputation. I would have been happy to pay a premium for a seamless experience, but unfortunately this fell short. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that the restaurant takes a closer look its guests’ experiences.

  Nice quiet little cafe with good drinks. The staff members were very kind and helped us set up a table for my larger group. We didn’t intend to stop here, but I’m glad we did.

  I’ve been coming here for 20 years, easily. And this location is always unparalleled in its ambiance, vibe, hospitality and service. (They also make a delicious cocktail.) I’ve been to other San Ambroeus locations all over the city, even the one in Palm Beach — they do not hold a candle to the Soho location. We celebrated my birthday there yesterday and appreciated how accommodating, kind and fun the staff was. I recommend sitting at the bar, order a drink, get some food. Vibe with the others sitting at the bar. It always delivers.
