  Overall the experience at this restaurant was very poor. It seems that the priority of the establishment is to strive for exclusivity and uphold a certain reputation versus actually providing adequate service and food. We were there for a group of 9 for a bachelorette party, an advanced payment was made and it was discussed by email with a representative of the restaurant that a member of our party had a very severe dairy allergy. Over email the rep was thankful we let them know in advance, and that accommodations will be made for the guest. When we came for our reservation at 10:30 PM (only time slot available) we were seated 45 minutes later. We were asked to stand around a bar that had little to no room around it, to wait for our table. Once seated, our waitress had no idea about our guest who needed accommodations for her meal. It was mentioned to the waitress several times. She also did not know much about the food on the menu. Our guest was told by the waitress that there was no dairy in the fish dinner. The waitress served it to our guest, then ran back to our table minutes later to let her know there was butter in it. Our guest was offered no accommodations for other food options, only just lettuce for the salad (since there was cheese on it). Another incident we had was there were fries brought to our table. As we started eating them, multiple waiters came over, removed the fries to our table and placed them on the table next to ours. Meaning, they placed food partially eaten on another table. We were not sure if these were placed initially on our table as a possible accommodation or were complimentary due to the size of our party and that it was for an event. The other party should not have received food on their table that was touched by other guests. There were also misunderstandings about access to the club downstairs. We tried getting attention from one of the managers walking around who blatantly ignored us. We were later told to wait outside in the line by our waitress to only to be told 30 minutes later by a woman with a clipboard to go somewhere else. She had done so to the group of women in front of us as well. So if you do want to gain access to the club part, you would have to email them in advance (we were later told), know someone, not get in or pay a crazy cover. Looking at reviews and then seeing the crowd that was let in, likely underage. I would not recommend this place to others. The place is very loud in general. Our group was not rude as other bachelorette parties may be (taking photos, taking up space for photos, etc.). So to be treated the way we were was extremely inappropriate.

  Waited 20 minutes to get seated, 30 minutes for drinks and over an hour for any food to come out. Pre set menu for party of 10 service was subpar. Would come back if it was the only option left in Manhattan.

  Went here for dinner with a group of girlfriends and we could not have asked for a more enjoyable night start to finish. The service from booking our initial dinner reservation through dancing downstairs at the lounge after was all amazing! Highly recommend trying the cookie for dessert if you have room. :) We will definitely be back again!

  A reminder of a New York I loved. A choose your own adventure of hospitality. Started upstairs for drinks and dinner. Then checked in with the doorman of the Lounge and led my group downstairs to party. Stretch Armstrong was djing!! Legend. Later in the night we went back upstairs to discover the main dining room was open for private seatings and we were invited to join for cocktails and dessert. What a night…
