  We hosted a 26-person celebration at Mēdüzā and it absolutely delivered. We had one of the private rooms, which was the perfect setup for a large group. It gave us our own space to celebrate while still letting us feel the pulse and energy of the main dining room below. You could hear the buzz, feel the vibe, and still comfortably hold a conversation — exactly what you want for a big NYC night out. Planning was seamless. The team made menu selection easy, communication was smooth, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. The food was outstanding across the board. Cocktails were strong and well-crafted. Service was polished, attentive, and never intrusive. If you're planning a high-energy large group dinner in New York and want it to feel elevated and memorable, Mēdüzā is a great move. We would absolutely return.

  I came here for a team dinner with work colleagues and had a lovely time, but I probably wouldn't splurge on this myself. We were early for a 6pm reservation and were able to be seated straight away (16pp), however we were split across two long tables, essentially creating two groups. With such a large group, we enjoyed a pre-fix menu of mezze, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Highlights included the butterfish (melts in your mouth) and the steak. The music is very euro summer and loud, you can feel the bass in your seat, but with the high ceilings, conversation isn't too hindered. Only as the evening goes on, do the lights dim and the music gets louder. So depending on what experience you are in search of, time your reservation accordingly. It was a mixed crowd on a week night - business and Instagram. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper in any of the bathroom stalls in the women's, and the complaints in the bathroom were very vocal. There is a lady walking around playing electric violin but I'm not sure how much that really adds to the experience.

  Went last night atmosphere and food was good but you need to understand what happened to our table. We were a group of 8 women on a NYC trip so we booked in advance. We were told we had to speak with Jackie to book a group event. They charged $90 usd for her to book our night. The best part is that $1k USD was charged to my friends card without her knowing. Then additional $1k USD when done. The food is good but not worth the money or the hassle. You get more apps than mains. They had $1500 min spend. That is ridiculous. There should be a minimum based on group size. A $100 is more reasonable person. Also you have to add taxes and gratuity to your total. It cost is 300 CAD per person. We didn’t reach our min spend so they charge you anyway. The waitress didn’t tell us we could ordered more alcohol to reach our min spend. Very poor service explaining this to us. So we paid money for something we didn’t receive because they charge regardless of what you consume! Also were charged $40 USD for 2 pitas this example in itself explains how they gauge their customers. A pack of pitas is $3. They put an extra 3 bottles of water on our bill thinking we wouldn’t notice. Spoke to a manager about our dissatisfaction and he had 0 discretion to make our night right. He could have refunded the admin fee but didn’t. Told us we had to sort it out with Jackie. What is the purpose of having a manager with no discretion. Really not worth the amount of money they are charging people. It’s a scam! Go somewhere else where they don’t charge ridiculous fees to book your reservations and don’t even explain things properly to you. They use a “contract “ against you. We didn’t book a wedding it was a girls night. Spend your time and money where they treat their customers like they deserve to be treated with transparency, accountability and fairness!

  Planned my best friend's 40th birthday celebration a month ahead at this restaurant. Pre-set menu ($ 300 pp). long story short, as I've written an earful. They served us cake that was already dropped on the floor. Look at the pieces; you can see for yourself. Do they look like slices from a 2- tier cake? Absolutely not. What stunned and disgusted me was the level of work and thought process that went into concealing the mishap. Alex took no accountability until the moment I insisted that the cake should be brought out, as I had no idea! Looking at the pieces that were served, I didn't even think to guess that was our $425 cake They served us contaminated cake, which was a major concern as restaurant hygiene and cleanliness should be the utmost priority. Had I not insisted, we wouldn't have found out, and they offered us no extra dessert to begin with, other than 1 olive oil cake that came out. So, the lack of compassion and integrity is beyond my comprehension. It took this guy 3 rounds of excuses and 35 minutes to apologize and admit that the cake had fallen on the floor! While I understand mistakes do happen, accountability and taking action to move forward so your consumer/guest feels safe and taken care of are the best policies. I am no restaurant manager, but we are well-established, hard-working individuals and being treated with respect should come without begging! We prepaid a $ 3,671 bill to be serviced in this manner! If you are looking to dine in and have a question about whether your food is clean, by all means, dine your way in here. The manager, Shannelle Mangold, has blocked my email correspondence. Provided us with an excuse that Alex is the newest member of their team, and he was nervous and did his best to rectify the situation. A rookie manager on the floor on a busy Sat! End of the road for sure, for all 14 of us. Be aware, oh, and they charged us an admin fee! Which restaurants have admin fees? SCAM!

  My 2 favorite dishes are the butterfish and the blue fin tuna with caviar. Those are a must. Photos are missing because I ate them way too fast. Sooo good. I’m coming back again for a second time this week so hopefully I won’t forget to take photos of those. Portions may be different in the photos since it was a larger group dinner.
