  Booked a private party at Aqua and from my first impression with Farah to our final booking i found the communication and experience fo be stellar. Fast forward to our event and i was blown away by our private room space which was more than spacious enough for our party. Our head waiter, Yanuel was so amazing!!! He was so friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Not only that but the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for making my holiday dinner such a success! Will be back soon!

  Paying $100 per person for an “experience” and spending over $2,000 for a party of 10 turned into one of the most confusing and disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. The menu clearly states that the appetizers are family-style. After that, guests are asked to make individual selections for the remaining courses, including choosing between the oxtail or pasta option and other menu selections. Based on the menu, it is clear that only the appetizers are meant to be shared. The confusion started when the shared appetizer plates were put on the table and then taken away. After that, staff came around asking guests what specific items they had ordered. Naturally, we assumed everyone would receive the selections they chose. Instead, food began arriving in a way that made it unclear what belonged to whom, and we were later told that items were meant to be shared, despite the menu indicating otherwise. What made the situation even more frustrating was that different staff members gave different explanations. When concerns were raised, the manager insisted the meal was family-style, even though the menu specifically states that only the appetizers are family-style. Asking guests for individual orders while serving food as shared plates makes no sense and only added to the confusion. The entire evening was poorly organized. We spent over 30 minutes waiting at one point and ended up missing two entire portions of the meal we had paid for. Instead of receiving clear answers, we were met with excuses and conflicting explanations. For over $2,000, we expected the experience that was advertised. Instead, we got confusing communication, missing food, long waits, and a manager who contradicted what was written on the menu. The entire experience felt disorganized, misleading, and not worth the price.

  Aqua gave us a 5-star event with the 2025 Taste of Tennis. Exquisite service by their hand-picked staff and vendors, and of course, the beautiful people...YES I said it! Absolutely lovely, beautiful people. Great attitudes, sharing conversations, experiencing amazing cuisines, fun photo ops (Topps Cards, amazing Step & Repeat, after party DJ with his own dancers - YES I said it! It was great to speak with some of "my peeps"- Babolat Ambassador Logan West, one of the finest high school tennis coaches in the country (perennial champs Sidwell Friends of Washington, DC) and my good friend, Chris Eubanks, a great tennis player and the future of broadcasting (and I will say, a future lead host on a major network), coach and former player Darren Cahill - who offered amazing advice to my regarding my two Romanian tennis players, Team Volkl (Sean, Cliff and the lovely Abby) - always great to see you, French #3, World #41 Corentin Moutet, one of my favorite Yonex players, Elena Rybakina (absolutely love ❤️ her!!), Pippa from Australia and her wonderful friends (go Richmond, VA), Alex Chan, tennis digital creator from "AlexChanTennis" and last but not least, my fellow Yonex Ambassador and social media influencer juggernaut, the massively impressive (official) David Chen!! Another amazing experience for me at Aqua NYC.

  Horrible dining experience. Music so loud you can’t hold a conversation. Food came out as it was prepared for our entire group of ten people. Some of us would get a portion of our order then the rest of it would come out well after finishing it. Service was great though but will not come back here.

  Aqua is a very large and beautiful space, with different areas like Aqua Room and Aqua fusion . It’s spacious and can definitely accommodate large parties, which is a plus. The staff was polite, and the overall atmosphere is nice. That said, the experience was just okay. The food is fusion-style (Japanese-inspired), but nothing stood out. The drinks were fine, and the lobster roll was actually very good. Everything else was average. Unfortunately, the service was not great. When we asked what was going on, the server mentioned that another server didn’t show up for work, which clearly affected the service. While that’s understandable, it still impacted our experience. Overall, I’d rate it about a 5–6 out of 10. Beautiful space, okay food and drinks, but poor service. Probably good for a large group if staffing is better, but I wouldn’t go back based on our experience.
