  We recently celebrated our wedding and reception in the private dinning room at Gramercy Tavern. The room, with its antique furniture, vegetable-themed wall décor, a serene landscape painting, and beamed ceiling, created the most enchanting setting. The in-house florist, Roberta created breathtaking arrangements that made the room feel like a fairytale. Every dish was presented artful but never ostentatious, offering beauty that flows seamlessly into flavor, and the service team was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Special thanks to Alison in the team who answered all my questions and requests with sincere smile. We are truly grateful to their event coordinator, Anasua, for her attentive and seamless guidance throughout our planning. Everything exceeded our expectations!! We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate such a special day.

  Came here to celebrate a birthday in their Private Dining Room and the entire event was lovely. The staff were so sweet and patient with questions about the dishes- not at all pretentious. The food was delicious. The room felt spacious and refined. My friends and I had the best time catching up! I will definitely consider hosting future events here.

  We made a reservation for a weekday lunch with for our team. We arrived at our reserved time and were taken to our table within few minutes. The restaurant was so beautiful inside with all the plants, flowers, rustic decor, huge bar, really created a wonderful tavern vibe. We started our meal with soft and fluffy bacon cheddar biscuits. There were 4 of them in the plate. Having only one of those didn’t seem enough. For entree I had the Tavern burger. It was made with a thick paddy that had delicious flavor topped with melted cheese. The aioli sauce on the side was so good that it enhanced the taste of the burger. My coworkers loved their pressed chicken and meal ball dishes as well. At the end, we ordered a bunch desserts including lemon cake, passion fruit sundae and chocolate cookie. Sundae was my favorite. It was so delicious, incredible flavor of passion fruit and vanilla ice cream. The cookie was little too sweet for me. But the lemon cake was pure quality. Our server Jasmine was amazing. Did an awesome job throughout the lunch. Rest of the staff were also equally pro, filling water, cleaning plates, folding napkins, they were on top of it all. Everyone was super attentive and fully dedicated to their job. At the end they also brought us a small cake for our office celebration. So kind and thoughtful gesture from them. Overall we had a great team lunch. I was so pleased to see Gramercy delivered above and beyond my expectations.

  How do I begin?! First, Gramercy Tavern accommodated my family and friends at the last minute to celebrate my now-husband's and my marriage. From the moment we arrived at the door until we left, we were welcomed with such warmth. Second, they made room for us even when someone else showed up out of the blue. The staff even fulfilled our family's and friends' cravings for the burgers in the dining hall. We had constant service, including beverages and water glass refills. To commemorate the important day, they even kindly gave us a "tied the knot" cake. I will always be appreciative of the management and employees at Gramercy for providing me with an unforgettable wedding celebration that mean't the world to me! Not only is this place a New York icon, but it’s also imprinted a special place in my heart. We'll see you on our first wedding anniversary, but probably before!
